Men jailed for killing pub worker

Two men have been jailed for killing a 64-year-old bar worker in an attack at a pub in Essex more than a year ago.

John Murray, from Southend, died months after he suffered fatal head injuries in the attack at The Sunrooms Bar, Market Place, Southend in July 2007.

David Graham, 32, who had admitted murder, was jailed for 21 years at Chelmsford Crown Court on Tuesday.

Mark Knight 24, of Kingfishers, Basildon, admitted manslaughter and was jailed for six-and-a-half years.

John Murray died in Southend Hospital in September 2007.
