Car crash victims named by police

Two men who died in a crash in Essex on Thursday have been named by police.

Christian Fairclough, 36, from Beaver Tower in Leigh-on-Sea, and Jamie Cummins, 20, from Snakes Lane, Southend, were killed in the incident.

Essex Police said the car they were in crashed into traffic signs and trees after it left the A127.

A third man, who was in the vehicle and taken to Basildon Hospital following the accident, was later released after treatment for his injuries.
