Man, 47, arrested after stabbing

A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, following an incident where a man was stabbed in Essex.

The incident happened in the early hours of the morning in Burnham. The victim, a 44-year-old man, suffered a stab wound to his abdomen.

He was taken to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The man arrested is from Burnham and is currently being questioned by police.
