Bank workers locked up in robbery

Four bank workers have been found locked inside a branch in Essex following a suspected robbery.

Police were called to the Nat West branch in Market Place, Saffron Walden, after panic alarms were activated.

Officers found the staff members locked inside and they have been taken to a police station to give statements.

Police appealed for anyone who was in the area between 0700 BST and 0900 BST to contact them. It is not yet known if anything was taken in the incident.
