Man remanded over youth's death

A 22-year-old man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with the murder of a teenager in Essex.

Dominic Barritt, 18, from Clacton, died in hospital after suffering a head injury during an attack on Walton High Street early on Saturday.

Mark Brewer, from Fairlop Road in Walthamstow, east London, appeared at Colchester Magistrates Court.

Mr Brewer will next appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on 17 November.
