Murder charge over youth's death

Dominic Barritt was attacked outside a shop in Walton in Essex

A 22-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a teenager in Essex.

Dominic Barritt, 18, from Clacton, died in hospital after suffering a head injury during an attack in High Street, Walton, early on Saturday morning.

Mark Brewer, from Fairlop Road in Waltham Forest, east London, has been charged with Mr Barritt's murder.

Mr Brewer is due to appear before Colchester Magistrates Court on Friday morning, a police spokeswoman said.
