Overturned milk tanker blocks M25

The M25 has been closed clockwise in Essex after an accident involving two lorries and a van.

Police shut the motorway just after 0500 BST between junctions 29 and 30 which are the A127 for Basildon and the A13 for Thurrock.

Essex fire service sent four appliances and crews helped the ambulance service to treat four male casualties who were later taken to hospital.

A milk tanker has overturned in the accident, the fire service said.
