Boy killed in crash is identified

A 16-year-old boy who died in a car crash on the M11 has been identified by Essex police.

The body of Jay Tamer, from Ladbroke Grove, London, was found in a stolen car which slid down an embankment near Harlow, Essex, on 5 April.

Two other youths have been arrested in connection with the crash. One has been released on bail while the other has been charged and remanded in custody.

Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the crash.

The car, a Vauxhall Signum, was stolen from Twickenham, south-west London, on 4 April.

A post-mortem examination into the teenager's death is due to be held.
