Man charged over slip road crash

A man has been charged with careless driving after a 53-year-old woman was killed in a crash on an M25 slip road in Essex.

Laveen Stanley, of Little Baddow Road, Woodham Walter, was killed in the crash which occurred as she drove on the A13 near Lakeside on 4 August 2007.

The 28-year-old man, from Burnham on Crouch, was charged by Essex police and released on bail.

He is due to appear before magistrates in Grays on Thursday 10 January.
