Armed robbers raid village shop
Three masked men have threatened staff at a shop in a village on the Essex/Suffolk border before escaping with a large sum of cash.

The men, armed with weapons including a sawn-off shotgun and wearing balaclavas, raided the Co-op in the High Street, Dedham, on Friday night.

Police said it was a terrifying experience for everybody in the shop.

The gang made off in an old-style white BMW car which they abandoned a short distance away in Mill Pond car park.

Anyone with information is asked to call Essex Police.
