Waitrose in salmon listeria scare
Waitrose
Waitrose has two stores in Edinburgh
Waitrose has withdrawn two salmon lines from its Edinburgh stores because of possible listeria contamination linked to a Lothian supplier.

The recall was announced after tests found bacteria were present.

Waitrose's own-brand 115g Scottish smoked salmon parcels and 100g Scottish poached salmon terrines are affected.

The products are made by Macrae Food Group based in Livingston, with date codes up to 28 August. Full refunds will be given to customers.
