Mr Carroll's BMW was found abandoned by Sussex Police
A finance controller whose disappearance coincided with up to 600,000 going missing from a company account is being sought by police.

Simon Carroll, 43, from Shoeburyness, Essex, had worked at a Purfleet-based company since early 2005.

The money went missing from a sister company's account in Romford at the time of his disappearance.

A blue BMW car belonging to Mr Carroll was found abandoned by Sussex Police on 8 March, 2007.

Police need to speak to Mr Carroll in relation to the missing money.

Mr Carroll is described as white, 6ft 2in, of medium build with short, brown, dyed hair.

He wears glasses and is usually clean shaven. He is known to wear a long blue leather coat.
