A rail commuter who was hailed a hero after he was shot when he went to the aid of security guards held at gunpoint has returned home from hospital.
Adam Mapleson, 24, was shot in the chest when he went to help security staff in Rayleigh, Essex, on 25 May.
Detectives have said Mr Mapleson is still not fit enough to be formally interviewed about the incident.

Police have been handing out leaflets about the shooting to commuters at Rayleigh Station in an appeal for information and e-fit images based on eye witness descriptions of the armed men were released last week.
One suspect was white, of stocky build, aged in his late 30s, with brown hair in a pony tail.
