A woman arrested in Essex on suspicion of committing fraud on the internet auction site, eBay, has been released on bail.
The 48-year-old, from Heilsburg Road in Canvey Island, was arrested under the Fraud Act 2006, after allegations that she made false representations.
Police said more than 70 people from across the country had made complaints.
The woman was released on police bail on Thursday afternoon pending further inquiries, said a police spokeswoman.
