Green light for town centre plans
A multi-million pound development for Pitsea town centre has been given the green light.

Basildon District Council has endorsed the town centre masterplan for the area which aims to breathe new life into the area and encourage investment.

Plans will include provision for up to 350 homes, retail space, and improved community facilities and leisure space.

They will also provide for improved links to the railway station and a reinvigorated market.

The project is funded by Basildon Council and the Basildon Renaissance partnership.
