A husband is claiming more than £4m in damages for a severe head injury which he said caused sexual problems and drove him apart from his wife.
Stephen Tame, 29, fell from a gantry while working in a cycle warehouse in Wickford, Essex, in January 2002.
Judgment was entered in favour of Mr Tame against Professional Cycling Marketing, of Wickford Business Park, Essex, in September last year.
Mr Tame, of East Bergholt, Suffolk, is also claiming lost earnings.
London's High Court heard how he made a good neurological recovery after two years of treatment but still has serious behavioural problems.
Mr Tame, who married 30-year-old Sarah eight months before the accident, claims their relationship is virtually over.
Lawyers for Mr Tame's former employers claim that he will be capable of working up to 16 hours a week in the future and that his marriage may survive.
The hearing, which is due to last four days, continues.
