Hungary trip to identify victims
Police investigating a road accident in which two people died are planning to fly out to Hungary in an effort to identity the victims.

The man and woman, thought to be in their 20s and from Hungary, died when their car was hit on the hard shoulder of the M11 in Essex on 29 June.

However, Essex Police have been unable to formally identify the couple.

A Polish lorry driver has been remanded in custody charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

The car, thought to have broken down, burst into flames when it was struck.

Stanislaw Baran, 50, of Lublin, is also charged with making a false entry on a tacograph, exceeding the maximum daily driving hours and failing to take the minimum daily rest in a 24-hour period.
