A £5,000 reward has been offered for information which could lead to the arrest of an armed gang who assaulted and robbed a security guard in Essex.
The incident took place outside Booker cash and carry store on Bull Hill Road in Clacton on 30 January.
The 45-year-old guard was struck on the head with a shotgun and a large quantity of cash was stolen.
The four masked offenders then made off in a Ford Transit van, which was later found abandoned in a car park.
Det Con Richard Bell said: "This robbery was carried out near to a supermarket and adjoining main roads at a busy time of the day.
"We want to speak to any motorists or shoppers who were in the vicinity of the warehouse on that Monday evening and who saw a car drive off at high speed.
"Hopefully, the offer of a financial reward will persuade potential witnesses to contact us with the crucial information and we can track down the armed robbers."
