Detectives are investigating a serious sexual assault on a woman near a shopping centre in Chelmsford, Essex.
The 26-year-old was attacked early on Sunday morning by the riverside near the Meadows shopping area as she walked home from a night out.
The attacker is described as black, aged 25-35, of medium build, between 5ft 8in and 5ft 11in tall with short black hair.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Essex police.
