Man murdered in forest shooting
Detectives investigating the murder of a man shot in the head in Epping Forest, Essex, are asking for help to find out who he was.

The man was found in a car park off Wake Road, Epping Forest, by passers-by who heard the sound of a gunshot at 0015 BST on Saturday.

He later died in hospital. He is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall, aged in his late 20s to early 30s.

He has a distinctive tattoo on his right shoulder, across his back.

He was wearing a silver coloured Rolex watch.

'Piecing together movements'

Det Supt Kevin Macey, who is heading the murder inquiry, said: "I am appealing for information from anyone who may recognise the description.

"I need to find out who he is so I can inform his family, piece together his last movements and identify who is responsible for his murder."

Detectives want to speak to two men wearing baseball caps seen driving away from the area where the man was found.

They said a sound like a gunshot was heard shortly before the men were seen in a dark car and the victim was found.
