Two wanted after fatal stabbing

Student Daniel Pollen was stabbed in the heart
Two men are wanted for questioning after the murder of 20-year-old Essex student in a double stabbing.

Officers found two injured men when they were called to Romford's Brewery Shopping Centre car park in the early hours of Friday.

Both men were taken to Oldchurch Hospital where Daniel Pollen died.

Detectives want to interview Michael Onokah, 24, and Timmy Sullivan, 18, who are both known to frequent the East London area.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said a post-mortem examination established media studies student Mr Pollen died of a stab wound to the heart.

The second victim, also a 20-year-old student, was repeatedly stabbed and punched. He has now been released from hospital.

The two men had been out with several friends at a Romford nightclub, celebrating a birthday and were waiting at the Brewery car park for a lift home when they were attacked.

A 16-year-old youth was arrested on Sunday in connection with the incident remained in custody on Monday.
