A Spanish man is due in court on Wednesday morning following a security scare on a flight from Stansted Airport in Essex.
The Ryanair flight to Reus in Spain was delayed by two hours on Monday as all the 132 passengers were searched.
Salavador Canals, 36, has been charged with an offence under the Air Navigation Order which deals with disorderly conduct onboard an aircraft.
Mr Canals, who is currently in custody, is expected before Harlow magistrates.
