School minibus crash
The minibus was taking to little girls to school
Two little girls were among the injured when a minibus taking them to school was in a crash on Thursday morning.

The three-vehicle accident was at Little Hallingbury, in Essex.

The girls, aged six and seven, had minor seatbelt injuries and were taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow for a check-up.

An 18-year-old woman from Harlow was airlifted to Chelmsford's Broomfield Hospital with chest and pelvic injuries and a broken leg.

An Essex Ambulance Service spokesman said the two girls in the minibus, one from Little Hallingbury and one from Duton Hill, were both left very shaken by the crash.

Second crash>

The escort in the minibus, a woman aged 69, from Harlow, and a 33-year-old woman from Bishop's Stortford, who was in the third vehicle were also taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

It was the second accident in two days involving Essex schoolchildren.

Fifteen escaped uninjured when their coach was involved in an accident with a van travelling near Hazel End village on Wednesday afternoon.
