New appeal for missing mother, 48
Sandra Gant
Sandra Gant's body has never been found
Police investigating the disappearance of a 48-year-old woman last year will renew their appeal for information at a press conference on Wednesday.

Sandra Gant, from Clacton, Essex, was last seen by her family on 14 November 2003.

Eight months after Ms Gant's disappearance her two daughters Carrie and Lauren are still looking for answers about what happened.

The body of the mother-of-four has never been found.

In December a teenager was arrested on suspicion of murder. Two men and a woman were also arrested at a later date.

All four have since been released on police bail.

Senior Investigating Officer Detective Superintendent Gareth Wilson said: "We have followed a number of lines of inquiry but we feel that people may still have vital information.

"Sandra's family have had eight months of torment, not knowing what has happened to their mother."
