Driver dies in two-vehicle crash in Weymouth

A driver in his 50s has died in a two-vehicle road accident on a Dorset road.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the Coast Road, Weymouth, on Friday just before 1700 GMT following the crash at Langton Herring.

The 58-year-old man from Portesham died at the scene from his injuries and police are appealing for witnesses.

The 54-year-old female driver of the other vehicle and her 64-year-old male passenger were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
