Short circuit behind estate fire

About 35 firefighters have tackled a fire at a large industrial estate in Poole, which involved two gas cylinders and destroyed a forklift truck.

Four Dorset Fire and Rescue Service fire engines attended the incident at a unit on the Nuffield Industrial Estate on Fleets Corner at about 1730 GMT.

Fire crews waited until the cylinders had cooled. An electrical short circuit is thought to have caused the fire.

They will re-inspect the scene at 0730 GMT. A workshop was also damaged.
