A 22-year-old man has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit arson after a fire destroyed heathland in a Dorset town.

Robin Spinks, 22, of Bowden Road Poole, appeared before Bournemouth Crown Court on Monday accused of starting a fire at Mannings Heath in Poole on 25 March.

He was remanded in custody until 13 July when the hearing will resume.

Two 15-year-old girls who cannot be named, will face the same charge when they appear at the Crown Court on Monday.
