Fire crews tackle two farm blazes

Firefighters have been tackling two separate fires at Dorset farms, one of which caused £100,000 of damage.

Crews were called on Tuesday to a blaze in a barn containing 1,400 bales of hay and feed along with a tractor and other machinery in Plush, near Dorchester.

Police are treating the fire as suspicious.

Earlier on Tuesday, a blaze which started from a wood-burning stove in a farm building near Higher Bockhampton in Dorchester was extinguished.
