Woman's body found below cliffs

A woman's body has been discovered on a beach at the bottom of cliffs in Dorset.

Two walkers found the body at the east side of West Bay, near Bridport, on Wednesday afternoon.

The woman, believed to be from the Bristol area, suffered serious head injuries, police said.

Dorset Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious. Officers also recovered a Vauxhall Sharan estate car found on Station Road in the town.

A 1,300 ft (400m) cordon was put in place around the body.
