Electric bike man in fatal crash

A 75-year-old man has died in hospital after he crashed into a van while riding his electric bicycle in Dorset.

Police believe the man fell ill while riding on Lions Lane in Ashley Heath, near Ringwood.

He crashed into a parked van and was airlifted to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital where he later died. Police said he died from natural causes.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the accident, which happened at about 1220 GMT on Monday.
