Disabled man attacked by youths

A disabled man has been injured in a "totally unprovoked attack" by a group of youths in an alleyway.

The 23-year-old, who was on crutches, was kicked and punched in the face and body and called names such a as "cripple" by the eight to 10 youths.

The assault happened as he made his way through an alleyway behind Highlands Crescent, leading onto Brook Road, in Kinson, Bournemouth, on Thursday night.

He only suffered minor injuries but was very shaken by the attack, police said.

They are appealing for witnesses.
