Man dies when car hits pub wall

A man died when his car crashed into the wall of a pub in Dorset in the early hours.

The 47-year-old man was driving a blue Alfa Romeo 155, which crashed into the Black Dog Inn in Broadmayne, Dorchester, at about 0130 BST.

The man, from Bournemouth, died at the scene, police said.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the car being driven prior to the accident, or saw it crash in Main Street, to contact them.
