A 66-year-old driver, who was rescued by residents from his burning car after it crashed into a wall in Dorset, has died from serious injuries in hospital.
David John Smith's white Peugeot 106 smashed into the wall and caught fire in Hill Road, Lyme Regis, on Wednesday, 7 May at about 1930 BST.
After Mr Smith, of Lyme Regis, was dragged from his vehicle, he was taken to Dorset County Hospital.
He died on Sunday, said police who are appealing for witnesses.
