Discarded clothing sparks search

A pile of women's clothes found on a Dorset beach has sparked a police hunt.

Officers and the coastguard conducted an air and sea search on Thursday morning following the find at Hengistbury Head near Bournemouth.

The clothes were all made by the Denim company and included an extra-large white T-shirt, size 14 trousers, size 16 jacket and a grey hooded-top.

Despite extensive searches no-one has been found. Police appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
