Police inquiry after body found

The body of an elderly woman has been found by police officers at a property in Dorset.

Police broke into the address in Wakely Road, Bournemouth, on Tuesday evening, after "concerns were raised" for the occupant.

The body of an elderly female was found. Dorset Police said the cause of death "had not been ascertained".

The woman has not yet been formally identified. A post-mortem examination is due to take place on Wednesday.
