Bournemouth's seven miles of sand attract thousands of visitors

Bournemouth beach has beaten competitors across the UK to win a magazine readers' award for best beach.
Some 10,000 readers of the magazine voted for their favourite beach and Bournemouth topped the poll.
It was selected, the magazine said, for its combination of water quality, scenic beauty and activities.
Coast editor Clare Gogerty said: "A new spirit has energised the coast. Beaches cleaned up their act, new hotels opened and regeneration brought life back."
