Manhunt after teenager assaulted
A man is being hunted following a sexual assault on a 16-year-old girl.

The girl was walking through an alleyway near the Animal Kingdom store in Oakdale, Poole, Dorset, when she was assaulted on Friday night.

The attacker attempted to remove the teenager's trousers, but she was able to get free from him.

Police, who are appealing for witnesses, have said the attacker was black, in his 20s, 5ft 4in, with a local accent and wearing a dark hoodie.

Dorset Police said the girl was shocked, but not physically injured.

Sniffer dogs were used to search the area where the girl was assaulted and police have made door-to-door inquiries, but so far no arrests have been made.
