The Duchess of Cornwall was joined by Prince Charles and his sons
The Prince of Wales and Princes William and Harry have attended the funeral of Major Bruce Shand in Dorset.

Major Shand, the Duchess of Cornwall's father, died at his home near Blandford Forum on Sunday.

Family friends and relatives joined the Royals for the ceremony at Holy Trinity Church, Stourpaine, on Friday.

The 89-year-old former cavalry officer, who was awarded two Military Crosses, had been unwell for some time and had previously battled with cancer.

The duchess was also accompanied by her sister Annabel Elliot, brother Mark Shand and her children Laura Lopes and Tom Parker Bowles for the service.

Major Shand was Vice Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex and Master of the South Down Hounds for 19 years.

His wife, Rosalind, died in 1994, aged 72, from osteoporosis.
