Twelve chefs have stripped off their kitchen uniforms for a calendar raising money for an industry charity.

The chefs from Dorset and Hampshire have all posed with items of food for the charity Hospitality Action.

The group supports workers from the industry who have had a serious accident or injury and provides support to those with drug abuse problems.

The calendar will be launched at the 50th Hotel and Catering Exhibition being held in Bournemouth next month.

Chef Ian Hewitt, from the Bistro on the Beach in Bournemouth, who posed with just a life belt and a bunch of asparagus, said: "We did the photo shoot on the jetty in front of the Avonmouth Hotel in Christchurch, which had lots of older ladies outside enjoying breakfast.

"They found it all very funny."
