Residents in Dorset are being urged to consider sharing a car journey to work to cut the risk of road crashes.
"Carsharedorset" - the county council's car-sharing scheme - is aimed at reducing the number of commuters travelling alone in their cars.
The two-year-old scheme has more than 1,100 members, the authority revealed.
"More people are realising they do have the power to affect the environment in a positive way," said Angus Campbell, the council's transport cabinet member.
