The public have been warned about Paul Stewart and Kristian Dolinski
The public are being warned not to approach two male prisoners who are on the run from a Dorset prison.

Paul Stewart, 32, and Kristian Dolinski, 29, escaped from HMP The Verne on the Isle of Portland on Tuesday wearing prison uniforms.

Stewart, who has scars on the back of his neck, tattoos and a piece missing from his right ear, is serving nine years for robbery.

Dolinski is serving four years and nine months for burglary.

Police are urging anyone who sees the pair not to approach them.

Road blocks

The pair escaped at 1930 GMT on Tuesday and were spotted by an off-duty prison officer shortly after.

He attempted to recapture them but they managed to get away.

Police are searching the area and have put up road blocks.

The Verne is a category C training prison and was taken over as a prison in 1949.
