Police have released an efit following the six incidents
A serial flasher who dressed as Father Christmas before exposing himself to young women is being hunted by police.

The man has targeted women and teenagers six times this month in Swanage, Dorset.

The last three incidents all happened on 12 December and in one - on a road overlooking the steam railway station - he was dressed as Santa Claus.

Police have now released an efit picture of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incidents.

They happened in the Gilbert Road, Northbrook Road and Institute Road areas of the town centre on 6, 8 and 12 December.

Pc Jonathan Maunder said: "I would be very interested to hear from anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously while dressed as Father Christmas in the Gilbert Road or surrounding areas of Swanage town centre on the evening of Monday.

"These incidents of indecent exposure have caused a great deal of upset to the women that the man has approached and we are treating these incidents extremely seriously."
