Charity match for tsunami family
A football match is being held to raise money for children who lost their parents in the Boxing Day tsunami.

AFC Bournemouth is organising the game to help collect funds for the children of Sandra and Kevin Forkan, who died in the disaster.

Lance Riley, from the club, said: "After hearing of this local family's loss AFC Bournemouth was more than happy to host this event."

The match takes place at Dean Court at 1830 BST on Thursday.

The Forkans, from Bashley in Hampshire, were on a working holiday in Sri Lanka with four of their children when the tsunami hit.

The club said that part of the money raised would be used to help "pitch conservation" at the ground.
