Homes had to be evacuated after an unexploded wartime bomb was found in a car in Dorset.
The device, a live high-explosive shell dating back to World War II, was detonated by bomb disposal experts.
Police said a man found it in a garden in Winston Avenue, Poole, and placed it in his car before contacting them.
Nearby houses were evacuated and schools alerted of the find. A Royal Navy bomb disposal unit spokesman said the device was "very dangerous."
