Trapped cow pulled from farm gate
A distressed cow has been rescued by firefighters after it got its head stuck in a gate.

Crews were called to the farm near Holnest, Sherborne in Dorset, on Saturday morning.

The Highland cow had to be tranquilised by a vet before firefighters could use hydraulic equipment to release it.

The animal was unhurt and is now recovering at home on the farm. The rescue operation took about an hour and a half.
