Police tackle ironing board 'row'
A concerned resident called police out after seeing three men attacking each other with an ironing board in the back garden of a house.

But officers called out to Dale Valley Road in Oakdale, Poole in Dorset, on Monday night found the men were having a "joke" fight after a drunken row.

Despite the misunderstanding, Dorset Police have praised the woman for calling them out so promptly.

Insp Derrick Lillywhite said it was a "well-intentioned" call-out.

He said "While the outcome of this call was somewhat light-hearted I would like to thank the concerned member of the public for calling the police so promptly."
