Arson attack suspected on Devon speed camera

A speed camera fire in west Devon is being treated as a suspected arson attack.

Emergency services were alerted by a member of the public who spotted the camera on fire on the A386 at Horrabridge, just before 0115 BST.

Firefighters from Yelverton used a hose reel jet and a dry powder extinguisher to put out the fire.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said the fire was being treated as suspicious.
