Devon man dies as sports car hits wall

A 23-year-old man died when his high-performance car came off a road in Devon and struck a wall.

His Honda Civic Type R crashed into a gate post and wall on Saturday morning on the A358 at Musbury near Axminster.

The driver, a man from the area, was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.

Police said initial inquiries suggested the car had been overtaking another vehicle before the driver lost control and left the road.
