Queen and Duke of Edinburgh to visit Exeter

Crowds of people are expected to turn out in Exeter next month when the city plays host to a visit from the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.

The couple are due to visit the Devon city on the morning of 11 March, Buckingham Palace has announced.

Details of the visit are still being finalised and will be released nearer the time.

The last time the Queen visited the city was in 2002 as part of her Golden Jubilee celebrations.
