Vomit bug ends dance event early

Dancers staying at a Devon holiday park have been sent home early following a sickness outbreak.

About 1,200 dance pupils and teachers from across the UK were staying at the Devon Cliffs Holiday Park in Exmouth for a dance event over the weekend.

A park manager said that a small number of visitors had suffered upset stomachs and that it was decided to end the event slightly early as a precaution.

He added that the venue had subsequently undergone a deep-clean.
